THE PRESIDENT'S MYSTERY

Synopsis:

A powerful attorney and lobbyist abandons his career to settle in a small New England town where he witnesses, to his dismay, the results of his anti-labor work. He also remarries, and keeps a low profile until he learns that his first wife has been arrested for his murder. Based on an idea by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, that developed into a collaborative effort by six writers for a Liberty Magazine short story.
