Synopsis:
This is the second instalment of Neil Simon’s autobiographic trilogy and concerns the Brooklyn teenager and his stark immersion into a Mississippi Boot Camp in the waning months of World War II. Basic training is a living hell thanks to a torturing drill instructor, and it seems likely that he will not be promoted from the rank of virgin before he saves the world on some strife torn Pacific beach.
