Synopsis:

When the death of a Supreme Court judge creates an opening on the bench, the President breaks with tradition and names a woman to fill the vacancy. The lady, a strict conservative, locks horns with the Court's flaming liberal, a man known as the "Great Dissenter." Based on the play by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee.
